Welcome to Sally Snider Watercolors
Sally spent much of her career working on commisioned paintings of Toledo, Ohio area landmarks such as courthouses,
businesses, restaurants and homes. Before moving to Colorado in 2000 she owned a very popular business selling prints
and notecards featuring those local sights. From 1999 to 2001, The Toledo Zoo commissioned her to paint eleven zoo
scenes, which were reproduced into notecards for the zoo gift shop.
Her detailed and realistic painting style has received widespread recognition including winning many "Best of Show"
awards and the coveted Grumbacher Gold Medal. Sally exhibited fifteen consecutive years at The Crosby Festival of
Art, which is the oldest and most respected juried outdoor show in Ohio. Her work was juried into The Toledo Museum
of Art "Area Artists Exhibition" five times where she received The Northwestern Ohio Watercolor Society Award. Several
Ohio corporations have included her paintings in their permanent collections.
